Cavs opt to move down from #20 in order to try and secure a couple of rotation players on cost-controlled deals. The Jazz have #8, #29, and #32. They took three guys in the 1st last year and have a ton of picks moving forward. They could look to move up in order to not crowd the roster with too many 1st and 2nd year guys. Cavs could chip in a future 2nd if necessary.

Cavs drop back and wind up with Ryan Dunn and DaRon Holmes II, two players I'd absolutely love for this Cavs team.

Dunn has size, length, and athleticism they lack at the 3/4. Projects to be an excellent defender but is still raw offensively. Rebounds the ball well from the 3 and is decent in transition. The hope here is his shot comes around and he can eventually become a Herb Jones like player for the Cavs.

Holmes gives the Cavs a stretch 4 option off the bench that can play with Mobley or Allen at C. Tough scorer, good shooter, and looks to be a solid defensive player.

Post draft, their roster would look like this:

PG: Garland, Porter Jr

SG: Mitchell, LeVert, Merrill

SF: Strus, Okoro (RFA), Dunn

PF: Mobley, Wade, Holmes, Niang

C: Allen

If keeping Garland, Mitchell, Mobley, and Allen together, LeVert, Okoro, Wade, and Niang all become potential trade pieces. I'd still explore options using those players that would potentially replace Strus as the starting SF and let him move into the backup 2/3 role.

If trading Allen, Garland, or Mitchell, this provides additional depth and more potential options once completing a trade.
