Welcome back to another trade by kawntent sports. In this deal we have two players returning to former homes, Wiseman returning to the city where he played College Basketball and Kennard returning to his NBA home from 2017-2020.

Why the Pistons do this:

James Wiseman means nothing to Detroit and if they can get positive value for him, even if it’s as little as Kennard, they should do it. Kennard adds yet another shooter to this Pistons bench which their GM seems to be fond of.

Why the Grizzlies do this:

The Grizzlies try another option at center with this deal, and save some money next season trading Luke Kennard for the expiring Wiseman. Memphis has practically nothing to lose here and everything to gain.
