Trade would work after the draft. It’s not super sexy for Minny, but it serves a purpose.

Since Orlando has cap space, they’re able to absorb some money. This trade nets Minny a good young backup PG that can eventually become the starter, a bench big in WCJ who is kind of KAT Lite to a degree, a developmental win in Howard, plus picks. This cuts $22M overall off Minny’s cap number next year, avoiding the 2nd apron and also giving them wiggle room to re-sign at least Anderson.

Orlando adds a great big to pair with Paolo and Wagner. Would need to add a shooter on the wing, but Suggs, Franz, Paolo, KAT is a tough group to deal with.
