My premise on this would be the Spurs pick lands at #4, Raptors #7 or below, and the Spurs aren’t absolutely in love with anyone outside of the top 3.

Why for all:

Nets: This trade would let them clean up their cap moving forward. LeVert + Graham is $30M in expiring money. Wade is a cheap bench piece and Bates is a young developmental forward. Add two 1sts this year including #4, plus a couple 2nds. With Simmons expiring as well, this would let them clear $70M+ off the cap for the 2025 offseason.

Spurs: garland fit is obvious. Salary neutral trade, meaning they’ll still have about $35M in FA to add to Wemby, Garland, Vassell, Sochan, Branham, Collins, Jones, etc. plus all those future picks.

Cavs: Add a starting wing in Bridges, rotational pieces in DFS and Keldon, and a pick to use on a young rotational player.

Cavs after trade:

PG: Mitchell, CPJ SG: Strus, Okoro, Merrill SF: Bridges, Johnson PF: Mobley, DFS, Niang C: Allen

Cavs would still have the pick and would maybe want to look at a big in the draft depending on who’s on the board. Filipowski would be an interesting fit, though I think I could see them going for a bigger guard like Castle as well.
