Summary:
The New Orleans Pelicans have gotten swept by the Oklahoma City Thunder. On the other confrence, former MVP Embiid lost to the NYK. Rumors have started spreading that Embiid is looking to leave and if so New Orleans will pounce. The Pelicans have a load of draft picks and young players that they can use to bring Embiid in. In this trade they are giving up Grand Theft Alvarado, Dyson Daniels, Jordan Hawkins, Larry Nance and nearly 10 frps (7 to be exact). This Haul allows the 76ers to redo the process but instead of Embiid they have Maxey. Embiid is turning 31 and with his Injury concerns its a huge risk to keep him. The only option they have is to go after another old star like Paul George in free agency. Instead of rushing they look at their options and decide that letting Embiid walk is what is best for them. Inface by doing this trade they get more than 105 Million in cap space. CAP SPACE. Although Embiid and Zion have had alot of injury concerns, they take this huge risk to become a title contender. They also trade CJ. Orlando require shooting and their is no better player than Cj for them. He has average over 20 ppg for the last 10 seasons and is shooting the 6 highest 3 point percantage with the 6 most attempts per match. CJ would defintely be a great assest for them and would be a great leader for their young squad. This trade would be a huge risk from everyteam but the reward is undeniable.
